The guy tricked the Tesla autopilot with the help of an orange! (ingenious VIDEO)

Perhaps the most convincing proof of the theorem on the benefits of fruit.

A resident of the American state of Utah and part-owner of the Tesla Model S, Dave Mitton killed two birds with one stone: he traced the autopilot of an electric car around his finger and became famous throughout the Internet.

The Autosteer function in Tesla is all good, but it has one uncomfortable feature: that it should work, the driver should keep his hands on the handlebars (the corresponding manufacturer's safety manual also issued it). To monitor this, there are special sensors. So, the clever Mr. Mitter went around the system with the help of an ordinary orange, fixing it on the steering wheel. After that the autopilot drove another 45 kilometers along the highway, carelessly whistling and not suspecting anything.
