However, instead of the promised documents, they received, in the words of the newspaper, "untested and possibly fabricated" information about Trump, and he did not provide the promised "cyber weapon". Intelligence officers refused information and stopped cooperation with the Russian. There was no official comment on this from the NSA. In mid-January, 2018, the hacker group The Shadow Brokers posted a part of the hacking tools belonging to the staff of the NSA unit. According to the members of the group, there were no buyers for valuable information, so they decided to share them for free.
