Vladimir Putin and Armen Sargsyan noted that in order to overcome the crisis in Armenia, the parties to the conflict should exercise restraint and responsibility. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Armenian counterpart Armen Sargsyan held telephone conversations on Wednesday, April 25, during which they discussed the situation in the protested Yerevan. The press service of the Kremlin reports.

As noted in the conversation, Putin and Sargsyan stressed that to overcome the crisis in Armenia, the parties to the conflict should exercise restraint and responsibility. They (the parties - Ed.) Should also be ready to solve the problems that have arisen through a constructive dialogue "strictly within the constitutional framework."

Earlier it was reported that the ruling coalition dissolved on April 25 in the Armenian parliament. The Dashnaktsutyun party, which was part of the coalition as a junior partner of the Republican Party, announced its withdrawal.

Protests in Armenia arose because the former president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan was appointed prime minister of the country. After 10 days of protests, Sargsyan left the post. The first deputy of Sargsyan Karen Karapetyan became the acting head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
